What We Believe

We believe the Church is a community of regenerated believers who confess Jesus Christ as Lord.  In obedience to Scripture we gather under qualified leadership, for the teaching of the word, worship, prayer, fellowship, baptism, and communion.  We are unified by the spirit, we discipline for holiness, we operate in the giftings that God gives each member to fulfill His great commandment to love and His great commission to disciple.

We believe that there is one God, eternally existent in three persons:

Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

John 1, 1 John 5:7, John 14:8-9

We believe that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; and that He was buried and that He rose again the third day according to the scriptures.

1 Corinthians 15:3-4

We believe that it is by grace through faith that man is Saved.  

Ephesians 4:8

We believe in order to be saved you must confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that He rose from the dead to pay for the sins of the world.

Romans 10:9

We believe the Bible to be the inspired and authoritative Word of God.

2 Timothy 3:16

We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.

John 14:16 John 20:22 Galatians 5:25

We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost; they that are saved unto the resurrection of life and they that are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.

Revelation 20

We believe in the spiritual unity of believers in our Lord Jesus Christ.
